Face painting at the Farmers Market

Summer time means fresh, local, good eats. The farmers market right in the centre of town on Saturday mornings is the best place to get a big bunch of garden fresh carrots, local jam or honey and even get your face painted!

Beach time

Now that summer has arrived, we have been able to take advantage of the sunshine and have been spending time up at the beach. Adrianna loves the warm weather and loves cooling off in the lake. And after a long afternoon... a snooze on the way home is just what the doctor ordered!!

Target here we come!

We went to the States for a shopping trip on the weekend. Chloe loves shopping almost as much as her mommy! Uh-oh... we're in trouble

Look out A Rod!

Chloe's got a new favorite game... baseball! Grandma Arlene bought Chloe a bat and a ball, and now it's all she can talk about. This past long weekend, we went and watched our friends daughter Emma play with her team in a tournament not far from our house. Chloe loved the action of the big girls hitting the ball and running the bases.

Maybe we'll have to take in a Vancouver Canadians game this summer. Nooner at the Nat anyone?

Hello my old friend

I'm so sorry it's been so long. Things have been a little crazy since I went back to work, but I promise to do my best to update this blog more often. The girls are growing up so fast and they love each other so much... we're so lucky!

We are desperatley waiting for the weather to get just a bit warmer. Well, us girls anyways. Steve likes the 'crisp' days... while I say 'bring on summer already!!'
