Camping at Lac Le Juene

We sure live in an amazingly beautiful province - it's just too bad the pine beetle has eaten much of it! We were shocked at how much of the forest has been devastated by the pesky critter in the area just north of Merrit. They had to remove a whole bunch of trees in the campground a couple of years back, so it was very very hot with not much shade.

Hey, if great weather was the biggest problem, you can imagine what kind of a trip we had! We brought our nephew Nate and hooked up with our great friends Linnea and Tarren and their two boys Phoenix and Parker.

Roasting marshmallows, sitting around the fire, the boys riding their bikes, hikes around the lake, playing on the beach, catching a fish, and bathing in itty bitty rubbermaids - it's the little things that make the best memories!

Off to Victoria!

We took a trip to Victoria to wish G Uncle Dan a Happy 50th! Chloe had a great time at the party, meeting her 2nd cousins and on the ferry!

The Children's Festival in Vancouver was this past weekend, and we met up with Chloe's cousins and friends to get in on the action!

A day at the Aquarium

Chloe loves the Aquarium! She could stand there all day at the tanks saying "fishy.. fishy.. fishy..."

Chloe at her favorite place... the 'Weeeeee'

Chloe calls the park the "weeeee" because that's the sound she makes going down the slide or on the swing. She gets to go to the weeee nearly everyday with Grandma Koga and on the weekends with Mommy and Daddy.
