Where did the sun go? Last weekend was so beautiful, we stopped at a water fountain so the girls could make a wish. Clearly they didn't wish for the sunshine to last...

Build a Sulley

We took Adrianna to Build A Bear to pick out her present. She is going with some of her little friends on Saturday to go and see Monsters University, so she picked out the lead character, Sulley.

She was so tired by the time we left that she fell asleep on the way home, with Sulley by her side.

I can not believe our baby is three! Where does the time go??

So, it's been over a year?

Well shame on me!  I can't believe that it's been over a year since I last posted anything!  I really thought that I would be better at updating what's going on with us - but I guess life just started happening and (much like my laundry lately) it got pushed to the back burner. Alright - spring is in the air - and it's time for a fresh start.  So here you go.

Chloe is now 5 and a half.  We are going to her Kindergarten orientation at the end of the month and I have a feeling I'll have to have a kleenex close by.  I keep telling her to stop growing - that's it!  She just gives me the biggest smile and says, "but I have to be 6 and 7 and 10!"  Chloe has a little mind of her own.  She knows who she is and what she wants.  Maybe this is just at the fore front of my mind because of the disagreement we had this morning about her clothing choice.  She is really into clothes lately and there's not much I can say about it.  Sometimes she really gets it right...and other times, well.... She's still as cute as pie anyway.  Oh - and she is crazy about her younger sister.

Adrianna will be three years old in June.  I can't believe my little baby is not a baby anymore!  She is such a little monkey.  She has an incredible sense of humor already. She cracks us up constantly and for the most part is a pretty happy kid.  We're still trying to break the soother habit, but we're down to nights only - so that's progress right?  I don't see many kids at 8 with soothers, so I'm not terribly concerned about it.  She loves her big sister Chloe too.

Adrianna 20 months

Adrianna is growing up so fast... They both are. "Anna" as she calls herself is now speaking a mile a minute... Repeating the last word of everyone's sentence. She's getting better and better at communicating with us, which also means she's extremely vocal about what she wants. But seriously, how could you say no to this face??

Ready for two wheels?

It's too bad that the weather is changing now. Summer's almost over and that will mean many more days spent inside. Chloe got pretty good on her bike over the past few months, in fact - she keeps asking us to take her training wheels off. I think we'll wait until next summer to make the jump to two wheels. Maybe until she can make it the whole ten minute ride to the store and back ;)
